Hello Adventurers! With Patch 5.3 still very much something on the horizon we decided dig way, way back: To the original relaunch of the game. Patch 2.0, or as we tend to call it now, ARR for A Realm Reborn! And from our digging, we found dungeons! A bunch of them! So for this issue of the Carbuncle Chronicle, we are tackling the first set of dungeons introduced in Patch 2.0. From Sastasha all the way to Amdapor Keep.
Ever think that maybe the world would be a better place if you just blew some daggum Mako Reactors? Well, Barret Wallace did and maybe he was on the right track. In fact he was right in 1997, and he was right today too. And now you can live that Barret Wallace life in full glorious HD thanks to the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Hello Adventurers! So the world outside is pretty dire, where frankly the Garleans are feeling like the lesser evil to real life right now. So if you need something to take your mind off things, we have got you covered. In this Issue of the Carbuncle Chronicle we turn back to clock to where we got started with the Final Fantasy series. And we reminisce on our journeys through MMOs till we reached Final Fantasy XIV.
Remember back in the day, when you could throw a bunch of people into the same space together? Just bunch a people all grouped up into rooms, to be able to get some education? Yeah, it was a fairy tale then too. But maybe, just maybe, if you went to Greendale Community College you could learn a lesson. About life. Or, at least how TV shows work. This is the OSMcast! episode where we talk about the TV show Community, created by Dan Harmon.

At least that’s the world of BEASTARS, the latest Netflix craze from the anime studio Orange based off the manga by Paru Itagaki. Which coincidentally, is the topic of this episode! Crazy how that works.

They talk about the impact that COVID-19 has had, causing development delays. They also read a wonderful letter from a doctor who plays FFXIV, and a preview of the eventual Patch 5.3: Reflections in Crystal.
