In this episode we decided that box anime is cool. And by “box anime” we mean, “Kekkaishi.” Also, ice cream.
Okay so admittedly I just beat MGS4, so at the moment I’m busy going “OMG MGS4 MGS4!!!!” therefore actual show notes aren’t exactly on my mind. Though I am sad to find out the Wal-Mart sale is apparently already over so… oops. Hopefully those of you out there will have already realized this deal and have bought one!
The rest of you should follow my lead and steal I mean borrow them from all your friends that just obtained those PS3s and play Metal Gear Solid 4 on them. I want to say that this new Metal Gear is good enough that you’ll want to buy a PS3 anyway, but I know that’s just the MGS fanboy in me and that overall the 360 is still
the better gaming system.
… Maybe.
Kekkaishi is also an awesome show and an even more awesome manga. You should go buy all of the manga now. They have 14 volumes so far out so you have plenty to catch up on!

Though to be fair, we ended up playing Street Fighter III: Third Strike afterwards instead. Will there be another Inubito/Basil podcast about the upcoming Street Fighter TV once it releases? Oh yes. And who knows… since we only scratched the surface that is GTA IV, there may be another about GTA IV in the far flung future. For example if you wanted an in depth discussion on how Niko’s journey into America as an immigrant was portrayed in the game compared to how it is seen and actually is in America, well… We could do that.
Or we could talk about playing darts and going to strip clubs in the game. Whatever floats your boat.

Seriously guys, that tarot deck is pretty terrible. But don’t take my word for it! Check it out for yourself with this handy-dandy so very Not Work Safe link that shows the entire deck. And where you can order it from, if you know, naked dirty hippies are your thing. They say they’ve sold over 15,000 of them, so I’m guessing they can’t all be horrible accidents like our experience was. So yeah Stevee we bought your deck, and we came away unimpressed.
Oh, and that Indiana Jones flick. It was so totally a movie. Yeah.

Tonight on the OSMcast! we go go go after the latest movie adaptation by The Wachowski Siblings, the Tatsunoko Production’s classic anime hit Speed Racer.
Also in case you hadn’t notice, Inubito thought the remix of the Speed Racer theme was so awesome, he included all of it. Be forewarned! Or not! However, this does end creating our longest podcast ever. But anyway, seriously guys, there were parts of this movie that were more awesome than Iron Man. Really. Not kidding! Though I guess overall Iron Man is the better movie, it’s already made tons of money so go spend it on Speed Racer instead!
